Safeguarding
Keeping children safe at ASFA Physiotherapy Centre
At ASFA Physiotherapy Centre the safety and wellbeing of children is vitally important. We want every child to feel happy, secure, and supported — so they can learn, grow, and enjoy their time with us.
What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding means making sure children and young people are protected from harm, feel safe, and know who to talk to if they're worried. It also means helping them develop the confidence and skills to keep themselves safe, both when at ASFA Physiotherapy Centre, at home and in the community. All staff are trained to recognise safeguarding concerns and understand their responsibility to act promptly and appropriately to protect every child.
How we keep children safe
We take safeguarding seriously and follow national guidance to make sure our policies and practices are up to date. This includes:
- Regular staff training
- Weekly team meetings
- Clear procedures for reporting concerns
- Working closely with families and outside agencies
